Peyto Wolf Ornament

Each ornament is handmade, at Calgary, by Dani with the pictures, also taken by Dani, as her source of inspiration. Each layer is stained by hand and stain colours will vary from ornament to ornament.

Peyto Lake in Banff National Park is nicknamed "the wolf head lake" because of the shape the lake forms when it is viewed from the viewing platform. The lake is named after Wild Bill Peyto, who was an early trail guide and explorer of Banff. This piece showcases a see through cut out of Peyto Lake itself with Mount Patterson (3197m) towering behind it. 

Each wooden piece will be accompanied by 3 photographic prints of Peyto Lake originally taken by Dani (4x4).
